1. What Is The Setup Cost? 

The total cost of our Franchise Package is £7495 + VAT. This lump sum gives you the exclusive licence to trade under the Domestique brand in your chosen area, as well as access to a customer base of approximately 75,000 households per territory. 

This initial investment also covers all the costs associated with opening a cleaning franchise with Domestique, including: 

  • Full use of our online CRM system. 
  • Full use of our internal call centre. 
  • Full access to our franchise forum and document library. 
  • And ongoing support from our head office with 2 meetings per year. 

Our franchisee fee for the first 3 months is also included in this setup cost and our management fees are then staggered after the first 3 months whilst you develop your territory into a successful business. 

2. What Supplies Are Included in The Agreement?  

Alongside these services, our franchise package also includes

  • A full business pack with 15000 leaflets, 500 business cards, and promotional pens. 
  • Branded items including umbrellas and folders. 
  • 3 months of Google Ads and Meta Ads with a £6/day budget.
  • And a corporate email address, phone number and calendar. 

We are also able to provide our franchisees with details of a preferred supplier who will be able to set you up with a starter package of cleaning supplies, uniforms, and equipment so you can start offering your services without any delays. 

3. Do I Have To Do Any Cleaning?  

If you choose us as your cleaning franchise partner, then your franchise agreement with us will be as a business owner, not as a cleaner. 

You will be responsible for developing your customer base, managing your team, and running your business to the best of your ability with the help of our highly experienced team. However, you will not be expected to do any cleaning yourself, as it will be the responsibility of the cleaners that you hire to carry out these tasks on your behalf. 

Besides, running a business is a demanding role, particularly in the first few months. You will need to dedicate your time to your customers and your employees, and whilst we will support you as much as we can, it’s likely that you wouldn’t find the time to clean your clients homes if this was left to you. 

4. Are There Part Time Opportunities?  

Our cleaning franchise opportunities include the option to work full time, part time, and remotely, depending upon what works best for you and your business. You might, for example, want to start off as a part time manager and then gradually increase your working hours as your client base expands, or hire employees to take some of your responsibilities off your hands. 

Since many of our franchisees offer their services during the working day whilst their clients are out of their homes, your part-time schedule can remain as flexible as you need it to. You can coordinate your team during the day, build your client relationships in the evenings, and condense your working days into just a few short hours based upon how busy you are.

Sometimes you may need to work longer hours to accommodate the demands of your client base, but as always, your working schedule is yours to manage. 

5. Can I Purchase More Than One Territory? 

As well as being the only Domestique service provider in your local area, your franchise agreement will also come with the option to purchase an additional territory. 

This can be a few months after you open your first branch, or several years: the choice is yours. You also don’t have to choose an area that is close to your existing location, as we believe that our franchisees should be able to open a business wherever the demand takes them.
